M-Pesa Payments

M-Pesa is one of the main payment methods available to our customers in Kenya.

When M-Pesa is selected during checkout, follow the payment instructions shown on screen and complete the transaction through the payment service provided.

Please ensure that the payment is completed successfully before leaving the checkout page.

Credit & Debit Cards

You can pay for eligible orders using:

• Visa
• Mastercard

Card payments are processed through the secure payment services available through our Shopify checkout and selected payment providers.

Depending on your bank or card provider, you may be asked to complete an additional security or verification step before your payment is approved.

PayPal

PayPal may also be available for eligible orders.

If you select PayPal, you may be redirected to PayPal to log in and authorize your payment before returning to our store to complete the order.

Cash Payment Options

Cash payment may be available for selected orders and delivery methods.

Pay at Our Nairobi Store

Where store pickup is available, you may be able to order online and pay when collecting your order from our physical store.

Cash on Delivery

Cash on delivery may be available for selected orders, locations or delivery arrangements.

Special conditions may apply depending on the order value, destination, delivery provider or product.

If cash on delivery is not displayed as an available checkout option, please contact us before placing your order and our team will advise you whether it can be arranged.

Secure Online Payments

We take payment security seriously.

Online payments are processed through the secure payment services available through Shopify and our selected payment partners.

Alimma Scents does not ask customers to send full card details by email, WhatsApp or social media.

How Do I Know My Payment Was Successful?

After a successful online order, you should receive an order confirmation through the contact information provided during checkout.

If your payment has been deducted but you do not receive an order confirmation, please do not immediately make a second payment.

Contact us first so that we can check the payment and order status.

My Payment Failed – What Should I Do?

A payment may occasionally fail because of:

• Insufficient funds
• Incorrect card or payment details
• Bank or payment-provider security checks
• Network or connection issues
• An expired payment session
• A declined transaction

If your payment fails, first check whether any amount was actually deducted before trying again.

If money has been deducted but the order does not appear to have been completed, contact our customer service team and provide as much information as possible about the attempted order and payment.

I Think I Paid Twice

If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same order, contact us and provide:

• Your name
• Your order number, if available
• The payment method used
• The transaction reference or confirmation details
• The approximate date and time of payment

We will review the available payment information and assist you with the next steps.

Currency

Our Kenya store prices are generally displayed in Kenyan Shillings (KES / KSh).

If you use an international card or payment account, your bank or payment provider may convert the transaction into your local currency and may apply its own currency conversion rate or charges.

Any such bank, card-provider or currency-conversion charges are outside our control.

How Are Refunds Paid?

If a refund is approved under our Return & Refund Policy, it will be processed using an appropriate refund method based on the original transaction and the payment options available.

The time required for a refund to appear can vary depending on the payment provider, bank or payment method.
